Topic: Free Protein! Who Wants Free Protein?!

I am having a product giveaway on my website.  Is it a shameless ploy to get visitors?

HECK YEAH!  But who cares!  It's a chance for FREEBIES!

Three lucky winners are surely going to hit it big!!  I am talking, wonderful protein jackpot!

Before I hit the rules, here is what three lucky winners will receive:

A case of Labrada On The Go Ready to Drinks, AND a case of Rock'N Roll bars!  OH MY GARSH!  I am so jealous!   All products will be sent directly to the winners from the Labrada company.

"Did she say a CASE of BOTH?"  Yes, she did!

Here is all you have to do:

from Sunday, April 5th at 12:01 am UNTIL Sunday, April 12th, 12:01 pm, every person who makes a comment on my website to any post, or sends me an email will be entered for the drawing.  You don't have to go into elaborate details of your surgery or life if you wish not to... (for you shy folks) but on Monday, April 13th, I will hold the drawing for 3 lucky winners.  Yes, 3 LUCKY WINNERS!  http://recoveringfatty.com

Good luck.  Gosh I love giveaways.

I noticed nobody posted to your question yet. I honestly don't know if he would but I am going to be having surgery with Dr.Snyder. I can't imagine a better doc in Colorado. I will warn ya though that he will have to go to one of his conferences before he can be seen by Doc Snyder. That is a requirement. But, you might want to call the office and ask them. I know when I went to the nutrition class there was a lady there that had severe problems with her lapband and Doc Snyder was going to be re-doing  it. So, its always worth a try anyway. Hope you get the answers you are looking for. Lisa

Does anyone here in Colorado know of any surgeons that will re-do surgeries?

My BF had the surgery done at least 15 years ago and has gained all his weight back and more.  I'd like to find a surgeron that will possibily do the RNY (what I had) to help him lose weight again.

Welcome,
This is the best journey of your life!!!!! Take it one day at a time.
I have lost around 140 pounds and have kept it off. I did loose 150 but gained 10 back from thyroid issues. That is resolved now so Ill loose the other 10 soon.
You will feel so great everyday forward.
Itis a pay it forward kind of thing.
Good Luck,
Carla

Congratulations on the beginning of an AMAZING adventure/journey

My advice is to not sweat the small stuff - just follow your doctor's orders.... OH is a great place to come for advice and comfort but it is not a replacement for your docs rules.  Every surgeon has their own way of doing things so don't get freaked out if you see something on here that contradicts what you've been told.

I am almost 3 years out - I prepared myself by taking my before pictures and measurements (I pull them out when I feel myself falling into bad habits).  Then I went and bought a pair of jeans that were a size 14 - that was my goal.  When I got into them it was awesome - even better when they got to be too big :)

I also read everything I could get my hands on about WLS to calm my mind.  Honestly, Carnie Wilson's book was like writing about myself (yes, she has gained a lot of weight back but that was because she fell off the wagon).

This journey has sometimes been hard but the best thing I ever did in my life.  Just take it one day at a time.

GOOD LUCK
