my name is Sami, I'm 23 311lbs and I'm ready to start my gastic bypass journey. I have called 3 doctors, left messages and havent gotten a call back, very annoying!!!!! I also called Medicaid, and the lady told me it wasnt covered by them :-S anyone have any experience with this..?? thanks Sami

Hi Sami, I found that it took a couple of weeks for some of the drs. offices to call me back. I finally talked to the offices of the three drs. I was most interested in and decided to go with Dr. Chae. I'm now almost 6 months post-op and am down 80 lbs. and feeling terrific. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chae. Don't know anything about Medicaid. I was self pay. Didi

I went with Dr. Chae as well. I didn't have any trouble getting a consult set up with him. Not sure what to tell you abou the Medicaid. Good luck. Kerri
