To all future and past WL people, I have met my requirements for Group Leader from OH. If there are any questions or concerns about WLS please contact me and I will be more than happy to help you. I represent Penrose Support group in Colorado Springs. I am a Co- support group leader and we meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month. I will reply to any help requests. Our support group is an independent group. We don't charge a fee for attending and enjoy for any one to bring there spouces and children as long as they can understand what is happening to you as your journey begins. Your family members can ask any questions they may have no matter how important or unimportant it may be. There are NO stupid questions when it comes to your health. The support leaders run the meetings totally and we are not managed by any doctors group or hospital. We do use rooms that are given to us by the hospital which we are thank full for. We accept any suggestions for subject matters, or guest speakers. thanks Steve group support leader

Hey Steve, I live on the Western Slope but go over to C. Springs a few times a year. It is great your support group meets on Fridays because maybe I can schedule my visits to coincide with the meetings. What time do you meet? There are no support groups near me and I'm talking about a 250 mile radius. Didi

What is your target population for these groups? I am researching the surgery and wonder if it would be appropriate for me to attend. Thanks I appreciate your information.
