Recommedations on a COS doctor?

I am just starting to do some research on this, and I was wondering if anyone in the Colorado Springs area has a doctor they would recommend. It would offer a place to start! Thanks!

Yes, I recommend Dr. Fedorak in Colorado Springs. He was recommended to me and has been wonderful. I had surgery on Feb.6,06 and he has been great. Hope this help. Good luck

Hello, there is only one doctors group in the Springs. Drs Fedorak, Fisher, are the best of the best. They have had no deaths, and are always there for you. If you live in the Springs, come to our support meeting on Feb 24 at 6:30. It is held at Penrose Hospital near the Cancer Center. Thank you all so much.. the info provided definately give me a place to start... as many other I imagine.. I am not afraid of the surgery.. but I am a Mom, and that is what keep me 'cautious'. I am glad to have found this site.. that is for sure!

Dr.Fisher did mine. I had Lap RNY almost three years ago. He was great. They are very experienced and have a good program. I also didn't have to wait to long. I made my first inquiry in November and had the surgery in July. Not bad when you talk to some other people. Good Luck

I would also recommend Dr. Fedorak. He has been wonderful!! And actualy I have had great luck with the whole office! I am only 2 weeks post-op, and had some minor complications, but I do have to say that the other doctors in that office were also great!!! I wish you luck!! I live in colorado springs but had my surgery by dr. schoen in denver and he was absolutely wonderful. i have now lost 98 lbs and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. it has been 5 1/2 months and i would do it all over again...cheryl
