Action on this board

Hi All, I'm less than two weeks away from joining the losing side and would really like to hear more from other Coloradoans. I think there is more of a stigma to obesity in Colorado than there is in many other places since Colorado so often is touted as the state with the most "fit" population. Could this be why this board is so quiet? I guess I'm just feeling isolated today. I haven't found anyone in the Grand Junction area who has done this surgery except for Zora who is about 4 or 5 years post-op and has sold the business where I used to see her. So I don't even know how to reach her. Didi

Didi - I have not checked this board for quite a while, but I will be stopping in more often. I am on the January 2005 board and the main message board. I am glad that there are some interested new faces here. I tried posting here a few months back and got no responses. I know what you are saying about Colorado being toted as one of the fittest states, however, I am not sure that is the whole picture. I know quite a few MO & SMO people and mostly all live here! I am so thankful every day for this process. I truly believe that it saved my life. I know that I have not felt this good in so very long. I can actually keep up with my kids now! Hang in there and keep posting. Let us know how you are doing and if you need anything! Cheri
