Matt's surgery is TODAY.....

Let's all wish Sharon's son, Matt, well with his lap band surgery today. We're all keeping good thoughts and know all will go very well. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, Matt!! Leslie D. (hoping for surgery soon)

Thank you Leslie, and all you other supportive people i don't know by name yet. He came through with flying colors. No complications, some pain, but manageable with medications. He cried and said he couldn't believe it was in after waiting sooooooooooooo many months. YEAH for Dr. John Bealer at Saint Lukes Hospital in Denver. He gave my son a whole new life !! Sharon (smiles!)

Congrats!!! I am so happy Matt made it through with no problems. I am sure he will heal very quickly and be up and at it in NO time! Make sure he follows his doctors post-op instructions, he is on his way to such a better life! Give him a big hug from all of us Lisa Lap-band 2-16-04

Thanks....he is doing so well,,,,back to his normal self except not as big. He has his first fill on the 9th. He is sooooooooo excited. Hoping to loose some weight before he starts High School on the 22nd. A little frustrated with his food restrictions, but doing well. Sharon
