Denver Colorado info needed
There's lots to do here, honey. You've got everything from the zoo, the Butterfly Museum in Lafayette, Red Rocks Ampitheater on the west side of town. Zillions of things in the mountains, Dillon Lake, Breckenridge, Loveland Pass, the Royal Gorge Bridge down south, Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, the great Sand Dunes down south, Garden of the Gods in the Springs. Email me and I will think some more.

You will love Colorado!
You will be in the Colorado Springs area. There are a lot of things to do in Colorado Springs or you could drive about an hour and find a whole bunch more.
In Colorado Springs:
Pikes Peak - (takes two hours to drive to the top.. but can see all the way to Kansas from there!)
Seven Falls - Beautiful waterfall.. be ready to climb some stairs.
Garden of the Gods - This is free.. you can just drive through or stop see the beautiful rock formations and have a picnic.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo - A Zoo in the mountains. Good walk!
Cave of the winds - Caves with Stalagtites (don't know if I spelled that right)
North Pole - Great if you have older kids... go see Santa and ride some rides.
Less than an hour drive from Colorado Springs -
Cripple Creek - GAMBLING!!! This is an old mining town that they legalized gambling. Fun place to visit.
Canon City - Home of the Royal Gorge Bridge (highest suspension bridge in the world) they also have a train that will take you to the bottom of the Gorge and an Old western town named Buckskin Joes. This is also my hometown!
Pueblo - Nothing to see.. don't waste your time.
Castle Rock - Great Shopping. Factory Outlet Stores!!!
Denver - Whole bunch..
If you want to drive a little further, Estes Park is beautiful too!
Hope this helps.
