surgery went great
Even with the scare of I-25 being closed all day Sunday and it not looking like I would be able to get to Denver for my surgery... everything went great. My nephew and I left the Springs a lil after 7am with the Durango in 4 wheel drive and putted our way to Denver.
Dr Brown said surgery went great. When I was being wheeled out of recovery my boyfriend Greg and his son were there waiting for me. They stayed with me for a few hours.
I was up and walking a little after 9pm Monday and just kept doing laps around the nurses station. Dr Brown released me early Wednesday morning to go home.
I am still a bit tired and a little sore but all seems to be going well. Tomorrow I am going to buy a new scale and see how things are progressing.

I miss Denver. I use to live there. Oh well, maybe I'll be back one day.
