Monday is the big day
My surgery is finally right around the corner. Monday April 11 at 12:30. I am lucky because one of my good friends from Surgery Connections class is having surgery the same day, so we can keep each other company in the hospital since we both live in the Springs and are having surgery at St Joe's in Denver... kind of precludes friends visiting daily.
My nephew is flying in to help play chauffeur and the love of my life - Greg - and his son Daniel are going to be there at the hospital when I wake up.
I am a bit nervous, but Greg just took me out for my last meal, half a turkey sandwich and a baked potatoe.... we talked and held hands, it helped me calm down quite a bit. Tomorrow we are launching rockets with the kids from Challenger Learning Center, then Sunday is a quiet day to just get ready to go.

Kimberley ill think of you and pray for you on Sunday on my last day at work for a while. Because ill be joining you on monday for a slender losser surgery here at Ft. Carson. My surgery is at 8:30am in the morning so we will be able to see how each other looses differently may the lord be at your shoulder to carry you threw your surgery so you have safe recovery from you surgery.
