I know everyone experiences hair loss a little differently. I Myself Have lost between 3/4 and all of my hair. I was Hoping (from what I have heard) would start growing back soon. I about 7 months Post op and down 118 ish lbs. I Take all the supplements and biotin, I bought Nioxin. Nothing seems to be helping. It has stopped falling out by the handfull but doesn't seem to be re-growing. I know I don't always get my protein in, although I don't really count. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!!! Korianne, I was told by Kelly (nutritionist) that nothing will help, not shampoos, not vitamins, nothing. The hair loss is from the low drop in calories you are eating now. Believe me this is my greatest concern about having this surgery. But i guess it's just something i will have to live with and pray and hope it all grows back. I dont have a whole lot of hair in the first place. Good for you on losing 118lbs.

I also took the class with Kelly. She did mention that it usually stops about 9 months out and it does grow back. So hopefully it will start to grow back soon for you Kerri

Korianne, Hey you... long time no see. I had surgery in June, and my hair started to grow back in January. I now have little 1" spikeys everywhere. I didn't take anything special. Just ate regular. Try not to stress (WAY easier said than done, I know!) cuz I think stress will make you lose more hair! I lost about 1/2 of my hair, and I cut it to a short bob above my shoulders. Hang in there! I wish I had more advise. Hugs, Susan
