Bariatric Gala Ball 1/29

Hello All, I was hoping someone would want to share how the whole thing went if they attended the Bariatric Ball hosted by Dr. Snyder on 1/29. I was unable to attend. I would of loved to see you all. Thanks, Diana

Hi Diana. I went to the Ball and it was wonderful! Everyone looked so good and everyone seemed to have a great time. I mentioned to my husband that it was neat to see women and men all dressed up and feeling really good about themselves. You could tell that a lot of self-images were recently enhanced by their weight loss! It was good to see that. There was a lot of dancing and a really nice buffet (finger food) meal. Of course, we honored Dr. Snyder and Patrick, which was way overdue in my opinion. They have changed for the better so many lives and I was glad I was able to attend and to tell them both a big "thank you" for effectively changing my life for the positive! Dr. Snyder and his cute wife were very appreciative and teary-eyed to see a lot of us there and I just thought it was a wonderful time. We were all given a really pretty smooth rock when we first came in, and later we gave it to back to Dr. Snyder and he put it in a huge basket. He is going to make a rock garden at his home with a light shining on it to remind him of all of us and how we are a shining rock in his life. I thought it was a really nice gesture. I'm so sorry you couldn't attend. I think they are going to try to do it again on an annual basis - not sure though. I think it would be a great idea to do it every year. It was a lot of fun! Megan
