Who is Post-OP the longest?
Hi Dannette,
I am not to far out almost 6 months and I am down almost 100 pounds. I know that that is not very far out but I would be willing to answer any questions you might have. You can always email me and I will get back to you ASAP. Good Luck on your decision, I know I am.
Much Love,
Kris

Hi Dannette,
Next Friday I'll be one year out. I've lost slower the last few months of the year than most, but my body continued to get smaller as the fat repositioned itself I think.
I relocated from Jersey to Colorado in May.
The person who put me on this path is 3 years out. She was 400 lbs.
A few months before I left Jersey, she had lower body plastic surgery.
The last I saw her, she was wearing a violet swede skirt and blazer suit in a size 8.
I'll be glad to answer whatever comes to mind.

Hey there Danette!
I am happy to reply as I relied on many people when I was just starting my journey ~ My surgery was 3/22/04, about 9-10 months out ~ I am 5'3" and started at 281 and am now weighing in at 143 wearing an 8/10. have had more after surgery complications (Gallstones and a hernia BUT I would never change anything!) Even with the 2nd surgery and complications, I am happier and healthier than I have ever been! Good luck in your journey ~ You are smart to do lots of research

Hey there, Dannette -
I know our support group here in the Springs has access to some people who are very far out - like 5, 10, even 20 years. Perhaps your doctor or support group has a list you can contact? That might help...
As for me, I'm a year out tomorrow. I still consider myself a newbie.

Hi Danette,
I just saw this post and thought I would reply. I am 15 months post op. I had my surgery in California and we moved in June of 2004 to Berthoud, Co. I am so thankful for this surgery, I have lost 150 lbs. I was 317 and now 172. I just recently saw a Plastic Surgeon and am starting the process for excess skin removal of the arms and tummy.
Blessings to you on your journey. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or just need a little support.
Pam
