question

Hello~ Just wondering if anybody else is experiencing this: Recently I am having dizzy spells when I stand up. My vision goes dark for a second etc... is it from dehydration, not enough protein or ??? Thanks Birgitt

Need to know more? Are you getting your fluids? what is your b/p. Give me a buzz or just email. You gotta get your fluids! Food you can do without some. Liquids are a tough nut though RML

i had this the first couple months after surgery. I made sure i was getting in protein and water, but it still happened. I let my surgeon know who on the next blood test ordered a couple different tests. Nothing showed up for me. Eventually it went away. But the best thing is to let your surgeon know as soon as possible.

I had the same problem and it was my blood pressure. The docs had me on medicine to protect my kidneys because of my diabetes and it was a blood pressure medicine. My blood pressure had been dropping to as low as 80 over 50. They took me off the medicine and I am doing fine. Be sure to have it checked. Glenda RNY 9/22/04 - 72 pounds.

Thanks to all that answered, I found out it is the beginning stages of dehydration~ drink that H2o!!!
