hi there, i too live in Fountain. Along with Michelle co. We both attend the penrose main hospital support group. It is the 2nd friday and 4th friday of every month. and is a lively and great group. It starts at6:30 and ends whenever. We bring clothes whenever to give away, there is a newsletter that will start soon and there must be 20 to 30 of us at any given friday. Thanks for the info Debbie. My surgeon just submitted the paperwork to Pacificare so I'm just waiting on the word. I would definitely like to join once I find out if it will happen or not.
I noticed you also have Pacificare, did you have any problems and what were the requirements for you other than the psych eval? (any dr. monitored weight loss program, etc.?)

Sorry this took me so long to get back to you. I had Pacificare and they were great i was approved in a week, but i met all the criteria also. My BMI was 50, i had taken a type of diet pill (not Phen-Phen) i had done weigh****chers and Susan Powter, Nothing Dr. Monitered but enough over the years, Who is your Doc? Mine is Dr. Chae i go for my 3 month post op tomarrow.. Yea -65 lbs. and counting. Come to the meeting on the 12th at penrose with me. It is for pre and post op`s you will learn so very much and it is good to get in the habit before surgery because your success will depend on the effort put into the process.
