Well, one month ago I started my four day liquid diet leading up to my surgery on September 27. I have since lost 48 pounds and I feel great! I walk over a mile and a half everyday without pain in my formerly sore knees and ankles. I have had an average of 40% of my intake made up of protein since starting this process. I FEEL GREAT!!!! Thanks to everyone who has answered my questions along the way! I couldn't have gotten to this place without the help of my family at AMOS and OH.com. Thank you all so much! Okay, off to update my profile! TTFN, Paul

I am 5 weeks out and have lost 37 pounds. Original goal of 115 pounds weight loss to get to where I should be...so have lost 32% of my extra weight. AM SO happy. Am doing protein shakes to get my totals in because I am having trouble keeping down meat or eggs in sufficient amounts. Getting in at least 60 grams of protein a day. Always have been a slow eater so do not think I am eating too fast and am chewing well. Sometimes food just does not taste good LOL. Sure tasted okay pre-surgery. I am walking 30 minutes a day or doing other physical activity equal to the walking every day. I walked a mile and half day before yesterday... Not fast but did get the distance. Miss our meetings Paul.. So glad you are doing so well. Glenda
