Hello, All!
Hey, gang. Sorry it's been so long since I've been online to give an update. With all the stuff going on with my employer, a possible position with Discovery Networks in Virginia, the launch of our Silkscreening and Heatpress business and continued struggle with Cigna, I have had very little time to get online.
I hope all is going well for you all. I've missed keeping up with what's going on with everyone (Hope you're doing well, Susan B!!).
Just wanted to drop in now that I'll be having some down time. Was denied for WLS 9/13/2004, then my Dr did a peer to peer with Cigna's reviewer 9/27/2004 and I was approved and scheduled the following morning. My surgery is tomorrow (Tuesday), 10/5/2004 at 1:30 pm at Rose Medical Center.
I am very excited and much less nervous than I thought I would be (perhaps that has something to do with feeling completely nauseated by the all liquid diet I've been on for 3 days). Lots of stuff I had to get done since last week, including pre-op visit to Dr. Snyder, pre-op appointment with Rose Medical, pre-registration and nutrition class. It's all wrapped up and I can't wait.
I'll be off for a month, so I should have no excuse for keeping in touch for the next 4 weeks. Hope to chat with some of you then. Take care and wish me luck.
Ron Hill
Yea for you! I had the RNY on June 28 at Rose with dr. S. too. They are AWESOME! I am posting ont he 6th of October so you are a day out now. You are probably very doped up right now. I want you to know the first month or so can be rough, but IT DOES GET BETTER!!!! In two or three months you are going to be feeling so good you won't know what to do with yourself! Hang in there and take of yourself! Best of luck to you!
