Flu shot's? Yes? No??

Ok i alway's get a flu shot.. My mom's been harping on me to get one again this year.. We can still have them right? I don't wanna, but i know i should.. Angel - 55 pounds since July 26th 7 pant sizes & 2 shirt sizes. Hot damn this is cool!!!!

I have no idea. But, if you find out (like by posting to the main message board) maybe post it on here or email me. I work in a school so I get one every year but I hadn't thought about it now that I've had surgery. Great question, Paul

You need to check with your doctor. I'd be surprised if he said "no." But if he does, please tell us his reasoning. Okay? My doc says to certainly get a flu shot. Not only is it something advised for everyone over 50, I have not been eating a really balanced diet, up till now, and a flu shot should protect me from being really sick. Cheers, Rusty 244/143

I plan to get mine next week. I cannot imagine it would not be allowed. It does not give you the flu as some urban legends predict, but protects you from getting it in the future just like measles, mumps and other shots.

Hi! Funny you should ask this. I asked my doctor the same thing 3 days before my surgery. She said it would be fine. I plan on getting mine within the next week or so. Take care!

by all means fallow your doc's suggestions.. I am 15 mo post op.. AND Mine told me to get the flue shot last year and I do plan on getting every year now as always !! I do not want to be vomiteing with flue with my pouch ya know ?? Anyway by all means call your doc's office and ask !! asking is the first thing I would do..lol Mine said yes. is all I can tell you..HUGS
