me jogging...yuppers!!

That is right I jogged on my treadmill for 30 minutes last night!!! I have never been able to jog for 30 seconds much less 30 minutes. If I can do it any one can!! I feel wonderful, and think that I will mix up my walking and jogging with some weights. I hope that everyone will get out and get some exercise in this weekend!! Have a great day!! Much Love, Kris

That's awesome, Kris! I'm still too jiggly and sore to start jogging but I'm going to take my first outside-the-house-walk today and see how that goes. I've been getting around fine but I've tried to stay inside so far. I'm even off Tylenol now! Great job! Paul

Good job Kris. I am gonna try jogging monday. And for you paul, you are only a few days out, I think you should stick to walking for awhile..LOL Congratulations on your choice to begin a new healthier life. I wish you a speedy uneventful recovery.. korianne 305/230/150

No jogging yet Paul. you are trying to rush a little to fast... Remember your insides have been rearranged a bit and you still need to take it easier for at least 6 weeks. Walking is okay...and I am doing that. Mine has been at the store hunting for edible protein foods up to 20 minutes per day.. a slow crawl after a week out of surgery, but Dr. Lucas said I am doing great... She also recommended whey protein if you can tolerate it because you can get up to your protein requirements quicker... Got mine at vitamin cottage. New Zealand Whey...less that 1 grm of fat and no sugar. Mixing it with 4 oz skim milk, 1 tblspn nestle sugar free chocolate powder and using on of those wand blenders to whip it up.. 23 grms of protein.. I started to feel more energy when I started doing these for breakfast. Guess you can mix with other things, but it seems to clump up with anything else I have tried.
