Home from the Hospital!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to drop a quick note and let you know that I'm home from the hospital and feeling pretty good. Everything went well during my surgery and my recovery has come along quite well. Everything is staying down, I got off the Vicodin and have started onto Tylenol. I know that I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm so thankful that everything went okay during my surgery. Thanks to everyone who prayed, thought about me and sent me good vibes...apparently it paid off! And thanks to Linda for the visit. It really felt good to see another classmate there in the hospital! Thanks again, I'll post my weight losses ASAP! Paul

Paul, So glad you are home from the hospital. Congratulations on bing on the losing side!! The liquid phase is the roughest...at least it was for me. Things will be changing so fast for you. We are all very proud of you! Keep us posted! Susan

Welcome home Paul, You sound so positive and happy. Congrats again on the surgery and becoming a loser. Keep up the postive attitude it will make things much easier in the long run. I look forward to reading your posts on your progress. Leslie

Welcome home, Paul, so glad everything went well. I am going for my followup today with Dr. Lucas so should have a weight loss to post later. I am starting to do cream of wheat and mashed potatoes. Even tried some non fat refried beans with no big problems. Am off all pain meds as of Sunday so just 4 days after surgery. Am still a bit uncomfortable, but no biggy. Sneezing has proved to be very unsettling. Think I am pulling everything loose. Hope they tied good knots. LOL I wish I could have gotten in to see you and Mary, but still to shaky to do much yet. Have been walking a bit more every day and things are improving by the minute. Have to admit two days after I got home I was going OH MY GOD what have I done. That passed pretty quickly. Think it was the thought of one more meal of broth getting to me. LOL. God bless and we should all plan a holiday reunion... Glenda
