This is Paul Stecina's wife, Lisa, just wanting to let all of his friends know that he made it out of surgery yesterday and is doing well today. His blood pressure was a bit high and they are still watching it, but it seems to be stable. I talked with him this morning and he is doing much better now that he is off the Morphine. It gave him headaches and it didn't help the pain for long. He has visited Mary and Andy who are two of his classmates from the Kaiser class and had had the surgery yesterday too. I have a tendency to talk too much so I'll try to keep it short here, but thank you to all who sent warm wishes and prayers. This is a scary endeavor and I am glad he has had people to connect with who know what he is going through!! All my best to you in your journey as well. Love, Lisa

Hi Lisa, I wish to tell Paul, Mary and Andy hi and I wish them all the luck in the world. I was also in their class at Kaiser but have not been able to have surgery yet. I hope to get it done by the beginning of the year. It is so good to hear all those who have made the journey are doing well. Tell Paul that we joked in classes that "the gang of them would be walking around the halls together and trying to out do each other" so get busy!! Hope they all get to go home soon and recover uneventfully. Take care and God Bless you for having such a special husband. He would make us laugh so hard during classes. Margaret Kouns
