2nd time a Charm

Well I am at home after spending a week in Fort Collins about 3 hours from home. This was my second attempt at surgery. Many of you remember that I was unable to go through the first after liver concerns stopped me. I went through the required testing. They decided I actually did not have the bottle in my purse all the time. LOL! I rescheduled. Nervously approached my second round but done. Looser's Lounge is NOW OPEN. I have lost 10 pounds in the 9 days since surgery. Can't beat that. Bit rough in recovery but other than that smooth sailing. Lactose has beat me but slide into the soft foods. Watch that protien doc said, but better to watch the water. Dont' dehydrate and your body will take care of you. Good luck to my fellow August shipmates and thanks for the support of all of you from August as well as my July mates who have continued to write to me even though I had to jump ship.

Patti I am soooo happy for you! I know in the begining it can be rough going, but it will get so much better. And I totally agree and encourage staying hydrated!!! I'm 26 days out and I am feeling much better!!! The energy is really coming back now. Keep us posted. Michelle
