Hey Heather, I am a stylist here in the Springs and have 5 clients who have had the surgery. Myself i am post -op as of the 22 of july. Let me tell you there is no pattern to wether or not you will lose any hair, it usually occurs2-3 months after surgery, if at all. Nothing will help keep it in, if it decides to fall out.. The only thing you might try is Nioxin (semi-expensive) because it feeds the root of the hair thus making it feel thicker and healthier. What i notice more is a straw like feeling after i wash and i think i need a more Protein based shampoo and Conditioner as apossed to a moistureizing ones and there is a big difference. Consult your stylist.... Because i hate the fact that my body is getting healthier but my hair(always a nice thing) looks like crap. But take heart it reverses and at about 6 months you have all thes sprigs of new growth and it all comes back. My hair was straight till i had my son and is now curly i wonder if hormones are going to reverse themselves again,,,,, anyway go with the flow, cause you cant stop it Debbi 327/305/160
