hey ladies and gents!! I hope that everyone is having a most wonderful day!! Well the dreaded day has come again ( Sunday) it's my birthday. I feel so old. I know, I know I am only as old as I feel. The one thing that I will really miss this year is the cheesecake that I get every year on this day . But I look foward to being half of the woman I am now. Thanks for letting me vent!! Much Love, Kris

Happy Birthday to You... In the latest Splenda newsletter I just received, they announced, da, da, da.....The Cheesecake Factory now has "6 Carb Original Cheesecake" made with SPLENDA! You can buy a slice, even though you probably couldn't fini**** or a whole cake, which would probably take years to finish. Have a good birthday! Carla

Happy Birthday! My wife made for me a Banana Creme Pie that she got out of the Dr. Phil cookbook which has like no sugar and tastes incredible. So don't give up on the idea of having something nice on your birthday, it just has to follow the rules! Congratulations again, Paul

The e-newsletter for Splenda is...www.Splenda.com. It is really great, sends new recipes and information on products with Splenda, like, Skippy Peanut Butter (Carb Options) made with Splenda, and it is really good. I was told by Dr. Snyder's office I could have melba toast, and it is good on that. Their website also has a lot of different recipes, not only desserts either. Carla

Kris, I know you had the best birthday yet, even without cheesecake. I just celebrated my birthday by doing something that I haven't done for years. I went to a zydaco concert and danced my feet off for about 45 minutes. I just can't imagine how next year's birthday will be. I will be post surgery and will be able to dance that much more. Better than any cheesecake! By the way, I always had white cake with chocolate chip sour cream icing, dancing helped me not miss it as much! LOL, Linda

Happy Birthday! What do you mean "yuck"? Birthdays are wonderful things. It's a celebration that you're here and look how healthy you are becoming!! As a cancer survivor, I have learned that getting older is a wonderful thing and that any day above ground is a good day. Enjoy some sugar free cheesecake (also at the cheesecake place on 92nd between Sheridan and Wadsworth and at the low carb store in Arvada, as well as some Super Walmarts) and have a wonderful day! Enjoy it all. Marty
