Surgery date scheduled!

WooHoooooo! I got a date!! I got a date!! I got a date!!!!! Sorry.... Just jumpin' for joy! My date has been scheduled for Sept. 27th at 10:00 AM. Looks like my classmate & new friend, Paul, and I are scheduled on the same day. My surgery will be following his. I know he is excited as I am! I'm very glad to have Dr. Brown as a surgeon. I really wanted the laproscopic...prayers have been answered! My husband still doesn't support my decision to have this surgery, but, he is at the very least, glad that it will be a lap procedure... I've already lost 30 lbs pre-op...now I can really join the leagues of "The BIG FAT LOSERS!" WoooooHoooo! It's time to those pounds away! Later, Y'all!

Mary, You're awesome and we all know it. I'm glad that you have the courage to go through with this even though you haven't had the support that we all need. Mary, Great news. My hubby was convinced that I'd die on the operating table. No he's mother henning me to death! We can't win. I was able to have mine laprascopically on July 14th and have lost about 18lbs! Am learning to eat pureed food right now. I can't beleive how easy the surgery was for me and I have primary pulmonary hypertension which is always fatal. I look at it this way. This surgery and the changes in weight will prolong my life and give me a life back. Will be praying for you on the 27th. Deborah
