Just a note to let you know, I ended up in the hospital again, this time for two weeks. It turns out I have pancreactic cancer. They removed most of my stomach and head of pancreas. In about two to three weeks we will start heavy duty radiation and chemo. I won't lie to you......I am terrified!!! I humbly ask for your prayers and healing thoughts. My children want me to go back to Arkansas for the treatments and right at this moment I am undecided what to do. My husband and I are the only ones here in Colorado Springs {"family wise"}. I never thought I would be here in this moment at 54 years of age. For any of you that might be having pain after 2 months of your surgery, please get it checked out. No pain is trivial!!! Sorry to hear that you are going through something like this. I can't even imagine. Keep your head and know that you're in the thoughts and prayers of many.

Dodie, I am so very sorry to hear about your cancer. I have gone through a lot of the things you and your family are about to go through. My best advice to you would be, go home. Go back to your kids and family, there arent words powerful enough to express how important it is, and will be, for you to go through this with your family. Dear Dottie: We are so lucky to have fellow OH.com people. When my biopsy could not go on and they had not told me anything in recovery my mind was also on cancer. They eventually found that I had liver disease and could not proceed with the operation. Glad he found it and so should you be. If you had not had this surgery who knows how long it might have taken to detect and it may have spread in that time. I know how horrible you must feel but we must remember that every cloud has a silver lining even black ones. Love and Kisses. Extra prayers for you tonight.
