hoping for approval thru UHC PPO for Panniculectomy

Hi everyone! I had WLS 04/15/03 and to date have lost 149lbs!! Of course I am thrilled with my progress....BUT now I see all the sagging skin. Went to Grossman plastic surgery in Denver yesterday. Great doctor ( Dr Capraro). My concern is the office manager was saying that UHC PPO has been a real stickler lately turning down requests for panniculectomies. Wondered if anyone has experienced this. UHC was WONDERFUL about my WLS, and this came as a surprize to me. The doctor is documenting rashes , sores, etc, but I am still afraid I will be turned down. at 5'2" and starting out at 288 you can imagine the problem I have with hanging skin. Any info would be so very much appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
