Spent 9 days in hospital

Hi everyone!! I just got home from spending 9 days in the hospital for being jaundice. Seems that medicine I took for a simple Urinary Tract Infection caused my liver functions to go thru the roof. I am still very yellow looking, but thrilled to be out of the hospital. They did several test on me and concluded that this was medication induced liver inflammation. Sitting in hospial for 9 days is not fun!!! I am unable to go back to wor****il the liver function test clear up, they say about another month. I thank all of you *****sponded to my earlier questions about doctors here in the Springs area. I was at Penrose Hospital and received great care. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the fact that I gained 2 lbs over the 9 days in hospital. If any of you have a question about something not feeling right or you just flat do not feel good after your RNY surgery, get help!!!! It may have nothing to do with your surgery, but it can be something serious just the same. I look forward in meeting people at the Penrose meetings. God bless you all, Dodie
