A little clarification
I am not offended by anyone I am driving myself insane adding up dates and how many days did it take and such. I am only posting because I have had so much response. I need to stop reading this and obsessing about who is at what stage and how long did it take and why am I so far behind.
I have some issues regarding time. I am am starting a new job at school at the end of August and I cannot not work or I will lose my aid. I am also entering a program at school in late August and it cannot be postponed. So I figured all said and done 8 months is plenty of time but here 6 months later and I am not much closer. Each amount of time that goes by is less time I will have to recover. A postponement will be at least a year down the road.
NOW I can already guess someone is going to say that they have spent X amount of years waiting. Well so have I (long story), and I am at the end of my rope stressing out.
No one has sent me away.....I am just trying to avoid the LOONEY bin it's no ones problem but mine. When I get a date I will post; at least then I can stop obsessing about if I get approved and how long it will be. I can make some plans.
That said I hope now every one will not feel so bad I didn't mean to start an uproar. I apologize I was just expressing myself like everyone does.
Thanks to all and I will talk to you soon.
I hope you dont mind, but I would like to ask you a question. I am on medicaid also, I have my psych eval done but not the nutrition class.
You have all of that done, and you are still waiting for a surgery date?? I think I have seriously misunderstood the way things will work. I was hoping to get a date no later than 8 weeks after submitting to insurance(pending approval). Have you been approved by medicaid?
Thanks

Kay,
Hang in there! Stressing out prior to insurance approval and getting an actual surgery date is all part of the game - for a large (pardon the pun
) percentage of people.
No need to apologize for expressing yourself. Venting is good for you and for your blood pressure. Keep us informed, ok?
Susan
