Drainage tube question...

Was just wondering how long everyone had their drainage tubes in?? Especially Dr Snyders patients... THanks all.. Korianne

Korianne, I had surgery with Dr. Chea, and he left it in for about 2 weeks. Not all Dr's put in drainage tubes. I know that Susan's Dr. did not he did a leak test in the hospital before she left and never had a tube. Sorry I can't give you a better answer. Leslie

Korianne, Leslie is right... not all Dr's do the same thing. Just know that if you do have a drainage tube, it is for your own good, and keep an eye on it. Luckily, I didnt have one

Korianne-- Dr. Snyder left mine in 8 days, he takes it out when you go to your 10 day follow-up and nutrition class. He or Patrick take it out in the office. Carla
