Need help!!! Badly...
Hi everyone.. I'm sorta new to the board.. Mainly a lurker on the main board.. Found this by accident.. I have a huge problem.. I'm seeing Tillquist on wednseday (23rd).. I KNOW i am expected to go to the nutrition classes & the support groups. But that's where my problem begins.. I don't drive.. I have a car & know how to drive, but i won't simply because i don't have a license.. My hubby is a trucker & is gone 5 or 6 day's out of 7.. My mom refuses to drive at night because she is night blind and my dad is also a trucker.. What do i do? Anyone close to Brighton or willing to come and pick me up if they are going? I'll help chip in for gas, that's not a problem.. No idea what i'm going to do... HELP!!!! Another tidbit.. How easy is it to get approved from medicaid & medicare? Do they require alot of diet records? If they do i'm screwed!
Hey Angel... sorry i meant to reply to your post last night... but fell asleep studying for my test... Im sorry to hear about all the troubles you are currently going thru... Believe you me i have had my fair share in the last year... Dont worry, I know things seem really bad right now... but they do get better... I havent always been a religious type of person.. but when my troubles started, I began to pray... and it has helped sooo much... things are finally looking up and going my way... it will happen for you as well...
Im sorry im not able to help out with a ride... my schedule between school, work and my two kids... well, lets just say i dont have a whole lot of free time... But, i can help out with your question to medicaid.. I asked the same question and was told as long as your primary dr. has deemed the surgery medically necessary most people are approved within a week... you need to have a letter of medical necessity from your primary dr. and list any problems due to weight, (breathing problems, joint pain, diabetes, high cholestorol, just to name a few) any medications you may be taking for these conditions... hopefully that helps ya out some...
Have to be going, have school... will talk to you soon...
