Sooo Excited...

Hello to all, Just wanted to share my excitement... my consultation with Dr. Tillquist draws near... July 8th... and then i go to my diet class on July 11th... I am sooooooo excited... I have waited for this for 4 years... Im sure you all know how im feeling... I hope that after all of this I dont have to wait too long for my surgery date... but i guess i should be worrying about medicaid approving me first... I can only pray... Leslie, Hi! Thanks for posting to the CO board My name is Susan, and I am also a patient of Dr. Tillquist's. I had surgery 10 days ago, and have dropped 21 pounds already....CRAZY, huh???? I noticed that you are in Lakewood. We started a support group last month for the "west side" of town. The next meeting is tomorrow afternoon (Sunday - Father's Day) from 2pm - 4:30pm at the Standley Lake Library in Arvada - we'd love to have you join is! I have 3 friends who were apporved with Medicaid (all Dr. T's patients) and it only took about 2 weeks for approval. Also, I believe that they are scheduling surgery for about 2-4 weeks out from your approval date. Mine was exactly 3 weeks & 2 days from when I was approved. It went by fast, tho! Hi Leslie, I'm up in Brighton.. I go to see Tillquist on the 23rd of this month.. Not going to see him.. I have to see his assistant? That's what Ilene (think thats her name) told me.. I got a problem though.. Might post it on the board after i go see him, then again i might go post it now.. I'm leary of doctor's so i will let you know how it goes.. Good luck on your appointment!

Hi Leslie. Thank you for the kind word's. I posted my problem & no one has answered me *pouts* Is there alot of people that actually post on here often? Stress has become my best friend the last few day's.. Our 2004 truck broke down (18 wheeler) No one want's to honor the warranty. They're all saying the other company ought to pay for it.. It's sitting in Las vegas.. No paycheck for 2 week's.. Bill's due, rent's due, need thing's for the house, gonna fall off my rocker here pretty soon.. Mainly stressing about how i'm going to get to the nutrition classes & to the support groups that i know Tillquist wan't us to go to, they don't have any here in Brighton..

Hi Leslie.. Your not going to believe this.. I went & saw Cj today at Dr Tillquist's office.. She's great.. Talk's fast, listen's great & answer's all question's.. I have a surgery date already! Holding it here in my hot, shaking fat hand! OMG i about pee'd my pant's when i went to this other lady & she set me up with a surgery date.. WOW!! Holy crappola am i excited lol Good luck on your appointment!!!

Hi Susan, Sorry i did not get your post in time... I would have liked to have joined everyone.... Well, im sure there will be more in the future... can try again... Wow!! I sure hope things move along that quickly for myself as well... Glad to hear that your surgery went well? How are you feeling? Congrats on the 21lbs .... that is wonderful...
