working while I wait
Well, finally kicked my boonie in gear and started the exercise thing about two weeks ago. Figured if I had to wait for Kaiser to have a surgical opening I would be pro-active in the meantime.
My bf called and asked if I wanted to go hiking in July. Said ummmmm ok, but will have to get in a lil better shape before then. (He is being so awesome about supporting me in the WLS arena). Sooooo lil ol me went down to the gym and climbed on the treadmill. I am now up to 40 minutes 4 times a week, on the hill climb program at 2.5 mph. And you know what... the scale may not say I am losing weight, but I feel great.
My breathing is easier, my legs feel stronger. Gonna kick that mountains butt in July. I am also kind of addicted now, the day isn't complete if I don't get at least 30 minutes in.
Now the next big goal..... WATER..... gotta work on getting those fluids in.
