What to expect???

I go in for my pre-op on July 2nd and I was just wondering what all that involves? How long will it take? Will I do everything for the hospital that day too or will I do it a different day? I am so confused.... Any information/advice you have would be great!!! Much Love, Kris v

Hey Kris, Basicly they will take all your vitals including an EKG of your heart. She will then tell you where to go and what to do when you get to the hosptial. Leslie

Thanks Leslie, I was getting a little worried about what i was going to have to do that day. I think that it is finally starting to sink in that this is real, and my date is just a couple of weeks away. I'm not nervous yet, but I think that I might get nervous closer to the 12th. Much Love, Kris

Kris, My pre-op appointment only lasted about 1/2 hour, and that included the waiting room time. It is no big deal... except for when the nurse, as she was drawing my blood for tests, said "You know your Dr. ordered a serum pregnancy test, don't you?" WHAT?!?!? My tubes have been tied for 10 years! (Luckily, it came out negative!) You'll do just fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hugs, Susan
