She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! hehe
Hello everybody!
It's me, the big loser! I came home from the hospital yesterday around 5 pm with a low-grade fever. I had been fighting it in the hospital since Thursday, but they sent me home anyway.
I am also on 24-hour oxygen, since my saturation was staying low. Ya' know what? I DON'T CARE! I am just soooooooooooooooo happy to be on the losing side!
Thank you SO much to everyone who came to see me, called, and posted to my page. Leslie and Kris brought me a book of all of the printed out posts. It is a treasure!
I love y'all! Thanks for standing by me thru my surgery (and before and after!)
Susan
Hi Susan,
So glad you are home and now on the "losing side"! I wish you the best and hope you a speedy recovery. Don't getr discouraged about the oxygen.
I recently read a book called "Before and After" about a persons adventure through weight loss surgery. If you get a chance read it it is great!! It also has a vast assortment of recipes for us to use after surgery that might come in handy for you.
My prayers are with you and I hope to be where you are at soon.Right now I am still in the classes that Kaiser has us do pre-op.
Again good luck and keep your chin up. Margaret
Wooooooohoooooo! It's great to have you back among the regular non-hospitalized folks, and welcome to the losing side! Hope you're getting a handle on that fever and starting to feel stronger every minute. Are you getting up and walking for five minutes every hour? (nag, nag, nag!) Sorry I won't be there on the 20th to welcome you to the losing side in person, but I'll plan on being at the next support group meeting. Take good care of you, and congratulations.
Marty
