Volksmar*****olo. Springs Tomorrow (Sat 5-29)

For anyone who's interested in starting the weekend off very nicely, there will be a Volksmarch (a walk) tomorrow in Colorado Springs at Stratton Open Space. You can choose to do a 5K or a 10K, and it's rated a 2 - 2+ (some hills). If you want credit through the AVA (American Volksmarch Association), it costs $3 or $5 for a New Walker Packet (if you've never walked before). And if you've never done a Volksmarch before, it's just a stroll through a pretty area or nice town where you start whenever you want (usually up until 11:00 or noon), and you take it at your own pace.
