Do any of you have Anthem BCBS of Colorado Federal? I am still waiting to find out if they will pay for my surgery that I had on 4/5/04. This surgery has been such a blessing to me. I feel better after losing just 46 lbs so far. It was very difficult for me to breathe here in Colorado because I have pulmonary hypertension. Breathing is much easier now since I have lost weight. I don't have to take meds for GERD anymore either. {Another blessing} My BMI was over 40 before surgery and has already dropped down to 32.7. I would appreciate any feedback on the insurance company and if they paid for your surgery. I was told they do not give approval until after you have the surgery!! God bless Dodie

Hi Dodie, I have Tricare so I cant help with personal experience, but I use to do all the insurance billing for a psychologist and we dreaded BCBS! They are very difficult to work with and getting them to pay a claim was just awful. Best of luck to you, Michelle
