My name is Kristin Leigh Reece but I perfer Kris. I have lived in COlorado my entire life and moved to Arvada 4 years ago, after I met my husband on the internet. I have a 4 year old stepson and 8 labs, 2 adults and 6 puppies that are 4 weeks old (and for sale!!) I enjoy walking, hanging out with friends, cooking, baking, and just being with my family. Hey Kris, I'm here but not fully awake yet (i'm sooo not a moring person!) I am 34, and my family is all in Murfreesboro, TN and all live within a few blocks of each other. I would be there too except I fell in love with a Colorado Native. I met him while I was living in Orlando,FL ( 1/2 my life I lived in TN the other Florida) and he was in boot camp for the Navy. We have been married 8 years this June. While in the millitary we lived in Conneticut and Hawaii. We don't have any children just 3 dogs and 2 cats. Steve (HD) works for Tractabell the power company that runs the power plant for Coors he is a stationary enginer for them. I work for a company called Cheaptrips as the travel manager, and am currently back in school working towards a nursing degree. Well that's enough about me! Everyone have a fantastic day. Leslie

This sounds cool... My name is Paola (pronounce it just like Paula...NOT payola puhllllleazzze)and I'm from Brazil. I moved to Tucson, AZ about 15yrs ago and moved to Colorado Springs last October because of my husband's job. I also met my husband on the internet and we've been married almost 8 years. We have a 4yo boy, Ben, and a 1yo girl, Bella. I'm christian and am really grateful to God...for all that he's done/doing/will do in my life! I like exercising (just have to get back on track), movies, long rides...fresh air! I crochet, weave, sew, have a degree in Fashion Design (who knows why). I worked for American Airlines for 7 years and still have about 5 years of free flight benefits...so if you want me to come visit just let me know hehehe I guess that's it for now...Have a great day!

Good Morning! What a great idea! My name is Michelle, I live just outside of Colorado Springs in Fountain. My husband and I moved here because of his job in the Army. He is stationed at Ft. Carson, but we bought a small home off base. We moved here with 4 dogs, but one of the dogs died due to kidney failure. The three dogs we have left are a German Shepherd mix, a Lab mix, and a Sheltie. The Sheltie will be 16 years old on July 26. I have been taking this week to try to kick the caffein (sp?) habit -- I've been having headaches and needing naps all week. But I'd rather kick it now than have to deal with it while I'm trying to recover from surgery. The other issue I'm dealing with is trying to rid our house of all the food that I wont be able to eat right after surgery. And my husband is up at Walter Reed right now so I am home alone trying to make meals out of this stuff without someone to help me eat it Lastly, I love working with dogs and troubled kids. Good afternoon, all!! My name is Denise, and am a mother of 2 busy little boys:ages 5 & 6. They're best buddies. Our 1st born is a rottie named sammie-9years old. My husband is currently stationed at Fort Carson...he's made this a career...22 years in. We think we've completed our last move. Bought a house on the Northside of Colorado Springs 5 years ago, plan to stick around indefinitely. Our familes are back in Ohio. I attended (The) Ohio States University, and graduated from thier Nursing program. The nursing profession has served me well considering all the traveling an Army family is required to do. I've done Labor and Delivery for the last 5 years-LOVE IT! Now, I've joined you all on the melting side of life!! Eager to find health, and energy!

I do Dachshund rescue,and get on peoples nerves ..lol Not really..hehe I just celebrated my 25 year anniversary with a wonderful man..I am post op.. I had my surgery done by Dr. Brown in Denver.. 7/21/03.

Hi there, everyone - Well, I'm a day late, but hopefully not a dollar short ! My name is Frances and I live in Colorado Springs, but work in the Denver Tech Center. I've lived here for 10 years now, having moved out to the Springs after college when my husband was stationed at Fort Carson. We own a house on the East side of the Springs, and are lucky enough to share it with five excellent cats - all rescues of some sort. I'm originally from Southeastern Alaska by way of Oregon and Iowa. I've learned to appreciate the Springs, but sometimes I still miss the ocean. I'm a Corporate Webmaster/Software Engineer, and on the side I'm a computer trainer and volleyball coach. Lastly, to know me, you have to know that one of my best friends in the entire world (and the best supporter throughout my WLS saga), is my sister. She's a teacher and coach living in Texas. We get to see each other a couple of times a year. And that's about it! I'm excited to see if anyone else answers this post - it's nice to learn a little bit more about everyone! Frances
