Hello everyone!! My name is Dodie and I have just moved to Colorado Springs from Arkansas. I had my Lap RNY on April 5, 2004 in Little Rock, Arkansas. So far I have lost 46 lbs and am feeling soooooooooo much better. By the grace of God, this surgery has saved my life. I have several medical conditions that have already been helped by this surgery. Am looking forward in meeting and sharing experiences with all of you!!! God bless Dodie

Welcome Dodie! Just to let you know there IS a support group that meets every 2nd and 4th friday of the month at 6:30pm at the Cancer Center of Penrose Hospital. I had to call around to find it and last friday was my first meeting. It's a great group of people...maybe we'll see you there! Take Care, Paola

Thank you all for the warm welcome!!! My husband works at Peterson Air Force Base in civil service. I am originally from Arkansas, but lived here since 2001. My husband and I were seperated for about 8 months is why my surgery was in Arkansas. We are now back together and life is GOOD!! Have any of you used Anthem BCBS of Colorado Federal for this surgery. I am still waiting to find out if they will pay for it or not. God bless Dodie
