LOTS of Support Groups

I just read a post that led me to believe there was a question on support groups? There are TONS of them around town. Each of the major surgeons can point you to some - most of them have groups (formal and informal) of their patients that meet. In addition, most of them use Kelly Elliot as their nutritionist and she sponsers several every month. I know of the following: first Fridays at Littleton Hospital, second Fridays at Sky Ridge, fourth Fridays at Swedish, third Weds at Englewood Library, first and third Weds in Aurora, second and fourth Thurs at St. Joe, I could go on.... There's also a group called Colorado Rockers from a wider range (Pueblo to Greely) that meet one Sat each month for lunch and fun. Their info can be found on spotlighthealth.com under team updates. I could probably come up with specifics if anyone is intersted. ALSO - even if you're pre-op start attending groups. You'll get invaluable information and start a support system. It's one of the key ingredients to success!
