It's one step closer.....

Hi there! Well I'm very excited about the support group here in Colo Sprgs I'm planning on attending this Friday. I met with the WLS Dr. today and now I will be going to see the Nutritionist and Psychiatrist. I can hardly believe that this is happening. I've been thinking about this for soooooo long and have even checked it out before. I really don't have much to say but thought I should start introducing myself around as I'm sure I'll have lots of questions later. Hope to meet some of you Friday, If any one has been to the meeting and could tell me where to park and what doors to go in that would be way cool. I always get nervous when I'm trying to find a new place.....

Hello Patricia Congratulations on all the steps to WLS you are taking. I am so glad I had a support group pre-op. I am sure I needed it more than now. And the message boards are a great source of info too!!! GOOD LUCK on your journey!!! Shawna

Patricia, This will be my first time there too...look for me! I'll try to find out more about it since I don't even know if the cancer center is at the same place the hospital is in. If I figure it out I'll let you know. See you tomorrow! Paola
