New to the group!

Hello all. I am 2 weeks post-op today. I'm feeling better than I thought I would. Still occassional light-headedness. Getting the fluids in, and on ful liquids. I seem to be tolerating this well. Want to be a part of this friendliness, and as helpful as I can. I may be able to come to the west-side support group meeting the 23rd. Have to check the family schedule 1st. Thanks for being here.

Welcome, Denise! So glad you found us There is someone else from Colorado Springs. Her name is Paola, and she found a support group in the Springs. We'd love to have you come to the west side group, but if is a LONG drive. I'd read Paola's posts to find out more about the group close to where you live. Congratulations on your surgery!! I am still pre-op. There are plenty of post-ops around here to help out, though. Thanks for posting! Susan

Hey Denise! I'm glad you're here in the Springs...the more the merrier! I had surgery on March 27th so I'm also kind of new at this...but am happy to meet people who have already gone through what we're going through and also people who we can help in the future. Hi there, Denise - I just wanted to say "welcome", as well! I'm also in the Springs and I just wanted to invite you to the Penrose Support Group. We meet the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at Penrose from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Our next meeting is tonight. It's free and spouses/significant others/friends are all welcome.
