#2 I cant wait to be not in pain.
#3 Did I mention that the thing I look forward to the most is no more back pain!!!
#4 I would like to take a bath without the water daming up at my hips.
#5 I really would like to go shopping with my daughter again, she is growing up too fast.

Hummmm.... The things I am most looking forward to doing again....
While in a stall being able to wipe my bum.
Be able to buy stylish clothes for 1/2 the price I pay for them now (them big girl stores ain't cheap!)
Being able to attend a yoga class and not bring the whole class to tears with laughter as I attempt to get in to the postions by manualy moving my fat rolls around.
Attend belly dancing classes again....and acctualy see my hips move and not the fat rolls that I thought were my hips moving.
Shop at Victorias Secret with out having the flat chested snotty size 0 20yr olds look down thier noses at me while telling me they don't carry my size in the stores....I have to shop from the magazine.(yes ladies this did happen to me)
Being able to hike at Red Rocks with out having to stop every 3 or 4 steps to observe the view, while really trying to catch my breath.
And finally,
Being able to BE the person that I feel like I am in my head.

I'm almost a year out (June 9 is my anniversary), so even though I can't address things I'm looking forward to, I would love to list the things I LOVE about having had this surgery.
...crossing my legs
...wrapping a bath towel (regular size!) around myself
...shopping in the regular person section without feeling like someone is going to tell me I have to leave and limit my shopping to the tent and awning department
...roller blading
...riding a bicycle
...NOT being the fattest person in the exercise class
...walking quickly with no sign of a waddle
...running up stairs
...tucking in a sleeveless shirt (OK, the batwings are there, but I don't even care any more!)
...knowing where my hipbones are
...putting on panty hose without gymnastics
...being able to see my toes
...(ahem) personal hygiene
...getting a hug and feeling someone's arms go all the way around me
...having my blood pressure and heart rate taken
What am I looking forward to? Getting my HAIR back!!!!
