New to the site
Hi everyone!
My name is Tracy. I live in Pueblo, Colorado. I'm 33 yrs old, and 9 months post op after having a Lap-RNY. I've gone from 234lbs to 164 lbs now and from size 22 to a size 10. I've hit a plateau, and just need to keep myself focused and keep my eyes on the prize. I hope to be able to help do that by talking with others who are going through the same struggles I am.
Today is my first day on the site and I think I've spent about 3 hours answering all the surveys, making my profile and reading all the great messages everyone has posted. I'm still having some trouble navigating the webpage, but I know I'll get that figured out.
I've also got some questions about plastic surgery. I'm considering a tummy tuck and the arm surgery. Anyone have any doctors they'd suggest? or stories to share?
Thanks for being here to share support

Welcome Tracy,
I will be 6 weeks post-opt on Monday. I started out at 264 and am now 231, that is 33lb in 6-weeks. I still can't belive it.
The Colorado boards have been running very slowly for the last month or so, but we now have a great buch of members who are eger to make this a fantastic board, so things are picking up. We seem to have more lurkers than posters but that is changing. We value new friends like you.
Once again welcome.
Leslie
Ps. I don't have any info on plastic surgeons but when I see my nutritionist on the 13 th I can ask her for recomendations. She runs a support group and has had plastic surgeons come in and talk as guest speakers.
Tracy, WELCOME ABOARD! My name is Susan, and I am pre-op. I can't wait to be on the other side like you!
You sound like you are doing fantastic, congrats! We hope you hand lots of new friends here. This board is TRYING to pick up!
I don't have any PS info, sorry... I hope to be looking into that in a years time
We are glad you're here!
Susan
Hi there, Tracy!
Welcome to the site!!! What a great idea to get involved here to help you stay focused! I'm sure if you just keep trying new things like that, everything will work out just fine.
I wish I could help you with the plastic surgery, but unfortunately, I'm too early in the process to do so. We were going to have a plastic surgeon speak at the Colorado Springs support group a few weeks ago (most of us are patients of CS Surgical Associates), but he was unable to show up. Send me your e-mail address and if they reschedule him, I'll let you know. And you're more than welcome to join us, if you'd like - we meet the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at Penrose in Conference Room B (I think it's B - can't really miss us - there's no one else there!).
Good luck to you! I'm sure this plateau is only temporary and you'll be right back on track in a jiffy!
Frances
