looking for support groups

Hi, my name is Annette and I am looking into getting the by-pass done. I am looking to find a support group in, around Colo Spgs, Co. If anyone has any info about support groups in this area, please let me know. Thank you so much.

Hi Annette! I'm Dorothy, and I'm fighting insurance for a lap-band. I live in Denver, and was welcomed into a group in the "front range" area. They call themselves "the Rockers" and supposedly meet monthly, alternating between Co Spgs. & Denver. I don't know much else, perhaps others will respond. If you want to check for updates on this group go to www.spotlighthealth.com and click the morbid obesity link, the support link and the suppport teams updates & look for anything that says "rockers". Hey there, Annette - I know you posted this quite a while ago, but I just found the Colorado message board today. We do have a support group here in the Springs - we meet at 6:30 pm every 2nd and 4th Friday at Penrose-St. Francis in Conference Room B (I think it's "B").
