So - I've lost over 100 pounds with my Lap-Band and need some extra cash to buy new clothes! I have some fantastic clothes size 18-22 that I need to get rid of. Does anyone know of any consignment stores in the Denver area that take plus-size clothing? I have tried Buffalo Exchange, but they only go up to a 14. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Leslie

I just did a search on the word "consignment" on the on-line Yellow Pages and found a lot of matches. I was surprised not to see the one in Lakewood that specialized in plus sizes. It may have closed. However, with 33 matches and a few phone calls, you could probably find a good place. I wish I had something more specific for you. But I'm sure you could find a place. Plus sizes are usually in very high demand. There are also some really good charities that are always desperate for plus sizes. Obviously this would be for your clothes that aren't worth a lot. I'll see if I can dig up the name of that place. Kathryn

Hey, I just got a post card from that place in Wheat Ridge. It's called UpScale Plus, Inc. I don't have a phone #, but the address is 3890 Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. They will buy clothes in good condition and I believe they do consignments too. Good luck. Kathryn

Leslie, Upscale Plus in Wheat Ridge is FABULOUS!!! I have both shopped and conseigned there for almost 10 years. The owner's name is Christine. It would be well worth a trip over there for you! I really recommend it. They consign and sell sizes 14 - 30+. Good luck! Susan
