12 days post and feeling pretty good. Wow it's hard to get used to the idea that I can't have a huge plate of spaghetti. Then, I have my cottage cheese and I'm full. Strange listening to your body rather than your feelings. I love it. Doesn't take much to get filled up. I've been kind of tired and was having a hard time finding my profile to update, but, I succeeded. Exercise is difficult because I'm lazy and can't get started. Wah,wah, wah, what a baby. Everything went well during and after surgery. Was surprised by the pain but got through it just fine. Had a lot of support from family and mostly my Husband. Everyone was really kind and helpfull at the hospital. Dr. Snyder and Connie were great. I really think Dr. Snyder is the best. God Bless him for helping me and others who will have and have had this life-saving surgery. Write more later.

It is great to see that you are feeling well and moving about some. Yes it is strange that something as small as a little cottage cheese will fill you up. You will get used to it, but there is sometimes an adjustment with what we call "head" hunger. That is the phantom hunger that you feel because you think that you should be eating more, or more often ect and yet you are full. some people even mourn the loss of food in large quantities. if that is something that you feel, do not be surprised. Just remember that too will pass as you adjust to your smaller stomach and a new way of eating. Glad to hear that you are home and feeling better. It will only get better as you go along Melisa Success is the Best Revenge! www.morrison.uk.net
