LAP-BAND anyone? :0)

I am wanting to get the LAP-BAND done, it seems to be the best option for me, but I am kinda walkin around in the dark here. Anyone got a flas light? IS there anyone out here that has or wants to get a LAP-BAND? I would love to share information and maybe a few smiles. In the Dark, Carisa

Carisa, I had the lap-band done by Dr. Johnell in Greeley on Oct 22nd; I've lost approx 25 lbs, and had 1 fill (.7cc) on Dec 8th. My next appt for a fill is Jan 7th. As of this date, there are three surgeons in CO that are doing the procedure - I think the one in Denver is Dr. Michael Snyder. I started at 289 lbs and am 5'2. If you log onto Spotlighthealth.com there is a national lap-band support group there. Lisa

There is lapband message board somewhere on the main obesity list. I found it yesterday, but can't find it today. I would contact the message board help for the site. Eileen
