Roll Call!

Hi, I am Michele Yoder of Rangely Colorado, and the first thing I have to tell you all is DON'T GIVE UP! If ever there was a battle to fight it was mine. I have had mutliple battles. I started with Dr. Michael Snyder in March of 2002. I had called my insurance ahead of time and they said that it was covered with coexisting medical conditions. Well, when we submitted, of course it was denied and the appeal was denied. I changed jobs (yes, partially because i know my new insurance did cover the surgery) and started all over having Dr. Snyders office resubmit. In November of last year I was approved. Got everything set up and found out that the hospital St. Anthony's North, did not participate with my insurance. So BACK TO SQUARE 1. I found a different surgeon in Salt Lake City and wen through 3 1/2 months of battle to finally get it approved and then 5 days before surgery was to be done I found out that the SURGEON had dropped my insurance 10 days prior to that! Guess what, now I am totally depressed and pissed off at the same time. In the mean time I found a surgeon in Ft. Collins- Northern Colorado Surgical Assoc. I am seeing Dr. Dickinson, have jumped through all the hoops and am set to go in 5 days. EVERYTHING is in place this time.!! So please, be persistent, dont give up! Wish me luck!

Hey there fellow Coloradoans!(sp?) Im Judith and I live in Aurora. I am a 32 year old mother of 3 beautiful children! I have been researching this for almost a year and am getting ancy for my appointment with Dr. Tillquist for this September.... I know it will all be worth it in the long run for a complete lifestyle change so Im excited! Hoping that I will get approved with Cigna POS, anyone else here Cigna that has tried getting approval since May of this year? Thanks!
