I had my VSG surgery at Parker Adventist with Dr. Metz on August 6, 2012. I had a great experience and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Dr Metz is great. The staff is great. I'm doing great. I'm down 35 lbs already. Good luck with your surgery. Hopefully I will see you at a support group meeting!

I think the biggest hurdle for me has been getting in enough water. I dont' really like drinking water or things other than milk and protein shakes. Water just doesn't set well in my stomach, and I can't drink it very fast so I struggle every day getting my 64 oz of water in...most days I fall somewhat short. I have found some Crystal light flavors this week that seem to go down easier and that has helped me get more water in.

I hope to make it to the support group. I work on Thurs so it's a race for me to get done in time to get there by 5:30. I didn't make it to the last group meeting because my daughter had a gymnastics meet. You are in good hands!

Hi I start my 3 day tomorrow, did the isopure help you, I am wondering if I need it.

Hi Ladies it is now 11/2 -- are you on at all? How did it go and how are you doing now? I have one more piece of information to go and they can submit my paperwork for insurance approval. Would really like to hear how things are going if you are up to telling. :) I know it is hard and I hope you are doing well.
