Thinking about relocating

I'm thinking about relocating from my 125 populous southwestern MN town.

I'm looking at possibly southwest Colorado. I'm looking for a town 3000-4000 in population with 1 or 2 banks (I'm a banker) and a law office either in town or nearby that my wife can work at (she is a legal assistant).

Any suggestions?

I live in Florence Colorado. Next town over is Canon City.. I have moved here from Florida 20+ yrs ago and love it very much. I would suggest anyone to move here. Great little town.

Actually,that is teh area my wife and I really like. That Florence/Penrose/Canon City area. Our only concern are the prisons around there. Can you shed some light? Also, could you tell us a bit abotu the weather there? How cold does it get, average snowfall, that stuff. Thank you so much!
